Our OHS Policy

Safety Culture, Leadership at Every Level

CMS AS systematically identifies, evaluates and controls every kind of risk and hazard that may be encountered in its shipbuilding and industrial production activities. Our ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificate is the international registration of this commitment.

Our OHS management is proactive, not reactive. Instead of intervening after an accident, we prioritise eliminating hazards at source, removing risks, or minimising them through engineering controls. In line with this understanding, all our managers hold an OHS leadership certificate.

Our employees undergo comprehensive orientation training before starting work; those exposed to special risks such as welders, workers at height and electricians receive department-specific advanced training. Through our hazard reporting system, every employee can report any unsafe condition anonymously, and these reports are resolved within 48 hours.

Employee health is continuously monitored through periodic health surveillance, occupational disease screening and workplace physician services. Hearing, respiratory and musculoskeletal protection are among our priority areas.
